The idea of starting KIS came up in 2021 when we saw an increased interest in the financial markets among young people. However, no society at King’s was dedicated to these retail investors.

We aim at building a strong community through (open end) socials with loads of fun and discussions because we believe that the best ideas come from a close and diverse group. We will focus on helping people take the first step in investing their money so that their personal experience is as smooth as it can be, and provide already knowledgable people with a platform to network and build upon their skills.
